Schindler Bionic 5 MRL fault - 11/28/14 05:00 PM

Hi,
As a technician with an independant l ft company in the UK I have inherited several schindler Bionic 5 MRLs. I had to attend one today which had been recently working.
The controller indicates that the lift is on test, but all the switches have been returned to normal. I consulted the manual and followed the instructions to reset the test. This had no effect.
The error light is pulsing regularly and the ISK section of the safety circuit is open. I traced this to the REC .
Can anyone help me with this problem.
Also, I have a PDA with the software to interrogate Thyssen controllers, and I would appreciate it of anyone has a copy of the Schindler test tool software that I could install on this.
Unfortunately, as we all know, schindler won't be helping anyone who has gained service contracts on their equipment so any help from you chaps would be greatly appreciated.

You can find CADI on the net if you look hard enough
But some of the later software versions you need the SPECI tool or whatever app it is they run on their iphones now

Tell the customer that if Schindler turn up offering a free software upgrade to not let them in the door!! it will lock you out of essential parameters and you will not be able to access them with out the tool..

Or you can but the modu-tool that basically runs CADI and the OTIS and ORONA emulators all in one and you can reset the counters on pre 2008 KONE LCE with an adaptor

Whats the Thyssen PDA ?? is it the POME tool??

No...it's a generic PDA I bought from China which has the thyssen software on it already. Apparrent Ltd I could install the schindler software on it too...if I could get it.

You don't need cadi to work on bionic, you can access all parameters from the access panel.

Also, took you 5 years to reply to this post?
