GAL MOVFE CAN BUS - 07/26/19 10:44 PM

Hello,

To enable Can bus on the door operator it says to change parameter 11. Parameter 11 does not exist even when it says to place door op in setup mode to be able to change parameter 11. Signal feedback is being recieved in the machine room from the door operator, however the door operator does not appear to be accepting CAN open close and nudge signals. Parameter 11 probably allows that. No idea why I cannot get into parameter 11. Any help would be great. Thanks.

What kind of controller are you putting it on?

Not all that familiar with the MOVFE but looking through the manual there are bit settings to view the status of the operator switches. However unlikely...maybe the setup toggle is no good? You should probably see the bit turn on and off and it looks like that needs to be on to access parameter 11.

Thanks. I pretty much ruled out the setup switch not working as I had to put it on setup to allow default centre opening parameters to be written to the drive. However maybe there is more than one pole or input. You never know.

You have to set parameter 15 from zero to 6301. Then parameter 11 is visible. 🙄. Hidden secrets.

Are you talking about parameters on the door operator? I just recently installed 4 of these with any issues. Are your red communication lights flashing on canbus card on door operator? Is your jumper on board setup properly for front or rear door?

All working. Needed password 6301 to get in and change. No jumpers for these movfe. Just params. Maybe the movfr has a jumper. I'll find out when I do one of those soon.
