Robert would this be a good forum to introduce the Timeout Jumper to OSHA or will it be closed to that kind of appeal?

This meeting is specifically to discuss the California Labor Code Section 7311,1 and 7311.2 that talk specifically about the certification required in California.

Up until recently mechanics were given "temporary cards". Now that so many mechanics are out of work and many of them are available for work, the law specifies that temporary cards can not be issued.

I do believe the Cal OSHA would be the place to mention this in writing, but this is not the group.

The time out jumper is not just for elevators. It is for all trades. I respectfully suggest that it be presented to operating engineers (building maintenance personnel) as well.

Respectfully Submitted,
