We got it done today. We used an air compressor to blow back the oil, and then drained the remaining oil with the drain plug at the bottom of the jack. We also used a COME-A-LONG to raise plunger, took the pipe off bottom of plunger, used a small piece of pipe to support plunger, and we're able to change wiper, o-ring , and seal without having to use a split packing. I'm sure this will pay off in the years to come. Thanks for the tips.
