I doubt it’s door related but it doesn’t hurt to make sure DCL6 is set correctly. Some of these encoder faults can be hard to track down, especially on the 10K drives. First you have to rule out any shielding problems. I forgot to ask if it’s a PM motor. Assuming it is,...

I did finally get the elevator back up and running. Thanks To help from Rolly. Thanks man. You are a scholar and a gentleman. Ultimately it was a controller lock up. And faulty S1 switch on the I/O board. Got it all reset. Running great now....

Technically it’s a crossover cable but I’ve never had a laptop that wasn’t capable of using either. If however, you ever connect a CPUA directly to a CGA without a switch, it does have to be a crossover....
