You can simulate TOC inspection from the controllers 1064 board if necessary.

If you are not an elevator mechanic please call your elevator company. Moving an elevator with the doors disabled is very dangerous. The accident in AC is the most recent example of what can happen when the elevator moves away from the floor with the doors open.

Contact your elevator service provider. If you don't have one, find one.

JB,
I applaud the previous responses for recognizing the potential danger of your question.

I'm not sure how to respond to your question? Who was the guy watching the door? Is he a mechanic too? Are both of you elevator mechanics? Where is your training from? NEIEP, NAEC or LEIA?

If you are a trained and educated elevator mechanic? I suggest you ask your supervisor for help. Explaining how to perform such a task in public or private WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF WHERE THIS INFORMATION IS GOING TO is irresponsible, reckless and criminal. Even a two bit ambulance chaser would love to add such a person to his case. And if you where not aware of this, let me be the one to educate you! A District Attorney can bring criminal charges against an individual.

If you are not a trained and educated elevator mechanic, I suggest you call any licensed and insured elevator service company.

Any decent Mechanic who can read a print should be able to figure that out.
