Getting 45 errors. Shutting car down once a day! Door close limit not open when doors closed? Funny thing is DC signal from TOC is closing doors and drops when limit opens? Am I missing something...This is the only error in log and happens twice before shutdown. Have swapped opto's,checked limit switch(Gal Operator). Found a few other problems just not the one I'm looking for! Any Suggestions?

Some of the Vvvf operators were prone to the little plastic cams not breaking the optic due to people standing on the operator box and bending the angle of the board.

Is it that the car starts to move prior to the DCL openning? My book reads "DCL input is not active when the doors closed".

Not sure...I always find it with 44 or 45 error. Faulted out?

Is this the same job? Are they different units?
Ok this is starting to make sense. 44 usually comes from a hatch door lock getting clipped. But, it can also be a gate switch not making.

Could there be something stopping the door just short?

Maybe cycle the door and heat up the door operator and watch it? You could make up a few test light and hook them up to your DCL, gate switch and interlocks.

They are 2 different problems at the same building? We tightened up the DCL and gate switch thinking they may get conflicted at times. That helped! We noticed that car doors don't fully close with no demand so we tried closing that up. Once it gets a demand doors close fully?

When there is no demand, it is correct that the car gate will not be fully closed. And when a call is made power is applied to the operator to hold the gate shut.

I believe with no demand your clutch should not touch your pick-up rollers on the hatch doors. Is it possible when the car is in this state a hatch door lock isn't made (locked)?

Late to this one too, but anyway...I'm with jkh here. In my experience with the Futura, every time I had an issue with 44/45 errors it ended up being (in this case GAL door equipment C/O) the relating cable on the back side getting caught under the interlock support bracket at various floors. You'd never know it until you carefully looked at the back cable or pulled the dust cover. This would prevent the full door closure on the hall side. After several attempts to close and run..."door disconnect" and logging of 44/45. Hope you've already found your trouble.
