401 Otis

Anyone know what sesdoor means in 401 fault log. It's highlighted and car won't leave lobby. Cop 2 reads L for lobby. Phase 2 keyswitch won't run car so I think its not on phase 1. Gearless fan switch is ok. Only highlighted fault is sesdoor and no abnormal conditions highlighted. Thanks

SESDOOR Signal to hold doors open on Fireman's Service.

check the controller over temperature switch. have had them go bad, and hold the car at lobby with doors open, something to look into. i believe the switch is mounted on top of one of the transformers if memory serves me. can't seem to remember if it said anything about fire service if the switch was tripped though. good luck

Sail switch on 131 or 139 gearless machines. It's the switch between the fan and field frame.
