Dover Composite leveling issues - 05/27/15 10:38 PM

Hey guys. I am trying to help out a co worker on this issue. Does not have optical leveling. We have two different elevators in two different cities. Ones a low rise the other is a 700fpm car. The problem is when the cars go to level into a floor they go into leveling speed nicely And slow down to the point were they almost stop, then speeds back up to leveling speed and hits the floor level. They do this on every single floor. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Compounding? Floor bar contacts?

Correction. The car almost slows down to a stop and then picks back up and levels to a floor. Only in down direction. Floor levels are good , speeds are good, brushes are good

Look at the relay sequence pattern during deceleration. Like you said, two different cars. Which means the faster FPM car will have more steps.

Are any of the optical leveling LEDs on?

The sequencing is fine on the slower car but it turns out someone has jumped out one of the slowdown steps.

Electric stop? Is it working?
