Getting SHD 2700 fault, something with brake not picking? What would cause it and possible solution? Thanks.

Brake switches dropping in flight, LB relay dropping in flight. Drive losing brake input. All can cause this fault.

Maybe those two stupid batteries in the controller behind the swing panel? Are they more than three years old (if you know)? When those go on the fritz, or even close, you'll have all kinds of weirdness. Check them out next visit. Just my 2 cents.

90 percent of the time this is the brakeswitches. you can turn off brakeswitch monitoring in the hidden drive menu to keep you running temp but change the switches ASAP , Unitec will sell you the switches with a write up and its a 10 minute job. i always do this to eliminate this first . the brakeswitches illuminate two leds behind the swing panel in the controller ( where the relays are ,i forget which ones but it shows on drawings ) this should tell you if it is the switches.

B and BE are the LEDs. They have to drop and pick together.

Bingo, adjusted brake switch. CAR runs fine.
