OTIS LRV-F UXOM fault - 04/28/16 05:53 PM

Hey everyone,

We are an independent shop and have two Otis LVR-F duplex units on contract. They were modded at some point to add a relay panel to integrate a rope gripper. Unit is intermittently sticking between floors.

We were getting a DRES door relay fault. We replaced a few Fujitech relays. Now we are getting a UXOM fault - and can't find any data for it. No one has info on that fault - can't find info in our manuals and some of our inside contacts at Otis don't understand it.

We think there may have been additional software installed along with the rope gripper panel, and a bug in these programs might be causing the faults.

Anyone ever experience a UXOM on a LRV-F?

You got a DRES on the processor board? That fault can occur for other reasons too. I.e. Power outage or drive turning off. UXOM maybe the uncontrolled movement code. if you have an Ovf20 drive, I would explore the fault log there for more info on the type of shutdown. The fault management on that processor subsystem can be spotty due the fact that it was used in multiple applications at that time.
