MCE FLOOR height checksum error - 09/10/16 11:08 PM
Manual is telling me it might be a faulty chip on the imc-ddp-c board in the ddp box . EEPROM bad , anybody ever unplug the chips and put them back and it re-set the fault ?

Sounds like the U15 chip. It usually fails after changing parameters, I keep one on the van now as I have seen it 5 or 6 times now. Snap a picture of all your parameter screens, replace the chip, re-enter parameters & floor heights or do a learn run, then learn the terminals and you're back in business.

Were you editing parameters when it glitched?

I was not. Was a shutdown. Car level in lobby with doors closed. Motor limit timer LED Lit. The other led"s gave me the floor height checksum error

Common failure after about 5 years. Piece of cake now with cell phone cameras capture your adjustment screens.
Put a new one in, do a default all (per manual), then reenter your parameters from each screen, relearn your hoistway and relearn your limits.
