swift futura problem - 09/26/16 08:54 PM

Hi Guys,
Having a problem with the futura.
When elevator go to bottom terminal floor and before it go to final level. Elevator stop and then leveling in. It always stop @ floor count 1014 before level to 1000. No error code show up.
Checked door locks, normal limit and re-learn the floor count. Still have the same problem.
Anybody have any idea?
Also, anybody have a copy of wizard software?
My email address kenelev@hotmail.com
Thanks,
Ken

Hi Kenelev,
By your description, I think might be your slowdown magnet on las floor bottom. Why? When you say, it always stop when's travelling to last floor bottom it need to detect first, the signal to slowdown before stop and that's not happen.
When you do re-learn, the only thing the car do, is recognise all the floors without recognise the points to change speed before arrive the floor to know how many floors exist on that hoistway.
I hope have helped.

Make sure the error buffer has not been excluded. Go to Command and type EXEL and any error that has been hidden from the buffer will show up. The command EXE (error code) removes an error from appearing under a FLT command. It does not remove the error from actually happening.

One other way to check if you indeed have a limit problem is to temporarily make LPE=350. Normally on a well adjusted job LPE can be anywhere from 25 to 35 in range. Run car to terminals and check with ULB and DLB command. It will tell you where your limit brole and at what speed. The same with ELB, to tell you where it is seeing the ETS switch opening.

Hi Guys:
Finally got it.
Turn out to be the tape is not align correctly and causing the tape guide worn out a bit. When elevator go to bottom landing, it did not see the DLZ first. It pick up the DFLZ then DLZ, that is why the elevator stop then leveling in to the floor.
But it never show any error code.
Thank you very much for all the help.
Also, still looking for the wizard software for the computer. It would make life a little easier.
