TAC 50-04 32 bit. - 02/11/17 03:20 PM
Just got a new bldg with tac50s. The car runs fine on inspection in the down, but in the up it shuts down after 1 run with a 1547 bslm. Brake swts look fine. Not sure if it's a tach issue since it's directional. My faults on my service tool doest have 1547. I don't have any manuals or fault log books. Any idea guys?

OK, thanks. Brake seems to be OK. Runs fine down but faults in the up.

The brake switch inputs are susceptible to noise. They should be in shielded cable with the shield grounded on 1 end. You can also wire a resistor from the inputs to P24 to keep them honest. What kind of machines are you working with?

BTW, I've never even seen BSLM2 input used before. And I only found that fault in the TAC32-T manual.

U could have a roll back issue. If you have a 10k drive increase karb adjustment on the drive to limit rollback on your start

Thank you for good info. Is there a pick sequence that the process of looks at, like balm needs to pick before bake or has to drop out first? I get run monitor faults if the brake switch are a touch out of wack.
