108 is a Tach voltage not following the speed reference error. the other two are drive not ok or drive stopped error's, caused by the 108. This could be a load weigh issue or brake problem, or a tach or over speed problem.

What kind of machine is on job? If it is an MX, chances are it is breaking traction. Try slowing accel/decal rate in Params.

little more info it is a MX with ST controller, per super swapped tach from fault cars to non same faults at end of day.So tomorrow sending weight team out to check brakes for 125% an check load weigh.Rolly how much or percentage would you recommend lowering accel/decel rate to or is it a play with until faults are minimal. Is cable lube recommend on these Machines

Slow it as low as possible ( won't go below a certain point) and see if faults disappear. I had one of those roped 2 to 1 slipping traction only went it left the second landing down. The ST are nasty since they require a Miprom Service Tool for the lon stuff. Also if traction is the problem do check counterbalance. Many are left wrong from construction and cause problems later.

Ok so brake holds 125%an load weigh they said was good.I haven't been back since post but will be back Tuesday. They tell me that at start of run it faults, brakes don't pick then faults are logged.telling me that there is no movement so ruling out traction loss.214 relay is DBR by nomenclature but can't find on job prints. Can brakes be routine an cleaned

Re: kcm 831 - 03/06/17 12:30 PM

If Brakes hold 125% leave them alone. Micros should be low movement on brakes to prevent faults. Supposed to be certified by KONE to do any brake work. The 214 relay is the Dynamic Braking Relay. It is used to keep the machine from taking off like a bullet if the brakes do not hold. It shorts all the fields together so you have a big huge magnet and the car can only move about 9fpm instead of running away. The 214 is an add on relay on older units and may not have been added, in which case you pick brake care will take off like a rocket. If brakes fail without a 214 relay anyone would be cut in half that got in the way of movement. If KONE failed to add the 214 relay, it is a safety hazard and should be added by them or get a lawyer to go after them. Maybe even an Inspector.

Could be the brake board if detecting movement before running

Do Ohm all the contactors in Brake circuit and make sure you have zero ohms when you push in relays. May have a delay because of high ohms. You will be surprised when you ohm them how bad they are.

What drive do you have? If you have the V3F25 then there are 2 brake modules directly to the right of the 201 contactors in metal boxes.

V3F25 80A Drive there is no brake modules job 15 to 20 years old replaced the 201-1 201-3 201-4 219 relays same thing found a xmb1 module plug connector going to resistor relay gadget in bottom right of controller think brake related going to swap with other car an see finally got back to job will see for how long

Do you have a picture of the drive? is the drive on the top half of the controller?

Ok behind swing panel I have sl2 sl3 delta relays then drive bottom right knee high to left of that is the 214 relay then below that the 201's an couple transformers behind that plate top is main board an CPU not two separate control cabinets all in on
