Unattended Drift on Swift Futura - 08/28/18 09:52 PM

Hello everyone, a bank of 5 Futuras were dumped on me for inspections and I got through the buffers and tripping the governors, but no where in the manual did I see anything on how to do the unattended movement. I looked through the prints to see if maybe i can force it electrically by jumping or forcing relays in. The equipment is 5 imperial Gearless machines with primary and emergency brakes. Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

The test for unintended movement, and ascending car is to assure the E-Brake or Rope Gripper will decelerate, and stop the empty car in the up direction, by tripping the Governor at 110% of rated speed. It will do the same in the down direction using a 125% load. Most tests I observed the Main Brake is held open either mechanically, or electrically, and the car is allowed to ascend or move down with a load. The Gov. must trip the over speed switch and stop the car.
