KONE LCECPU 561 - 01/25/19 04:25 PM
Hi All
Anyone here that have a copy of a NVRAM Dallas 1245Y on a Kone LCECPU 561, where the controller is locked after the 10000 starts?
It would much appreciated if someone would share the .BIN file.
/Alex

Have never heard of Kone doing that? Where are you located?

Europe..
Kone has been locking LCE controllers since the first gen Monospace. (They remove the KNX board from the controller if they loose the service on the unit).

Ahhhhhh, those sneaky fins. I doubt they'd get away with that here. The building owner would sue them. The building owns the equipment, i find it hard to believe that the building owners don't do that in Europe.
Schindler gets away with it
its my understanding that Kone owns the KNX cards, they are NOT sold as part of the original lift equipment, and that's how they get away with it.

Has anyone tried on a locked unit logging in with laptop using the Kone Console program? It's quite complex. The password to get into high level stuff includes the floor the car is parked at, so it changes constantly.
