schindler 330A - 01/10/12 11:39 PM

had code 94 fault with doors fully open. sdoor and cdoor relays drop out when doors open. believe fault happens when doors are suppose to close. wondering if magnetic switch in header that plugs into door op has anything to do with this?

what is the extra info code, check that and maybe it will narrow your search. there are around 15 different scenarios depending on the extra info code. looks like most of them were about the door or gate being closed when door open limit was on, or doors being closed and not made with door open limit off. couple of extra things. check the extra info code

Extra info code is 0x00000008. Don't have any literature on what the extra info is.

it could have been a person trying to catch a ride while door was almost close(I get that one a lot)... Dirty contact, bad spirator, debris in the sill Etc. Always keep it simple, because it usually is. smile

Two things send me the xtrainfo I can tell you what it means. Also look on the lower left side off the CRIPHNA board and see if resistor R176 is burnt. I have replaced 2 of these boards due to that resistor being burnt. it provides "door power" I had many calls with door faults then finally saw the burnt resistor. If it looks black or discolored poke it with an ink pen and see if the door power led flickers or goes out. Pretty expensive replacement for a very cheap part.

Had another CRIPHNA board with a toasted R176 resistor! 3different buildings, 3 different parts of town. Called Adams tech support and got shuffled to Voice mail, asking what the resistance of this resistor is so I can make field repairs..........6 hours later, no return call........ordered another board $800 if I send old one back, this really is getting expensive. Anyone know what the resistance is on R176? Thanks to all

Honestly the 94 is an issue with the 330a's check that your door locks are set up correctly, the replace the crip board if your still getting the error

we had a 330a that was doing this on and off for a few weeks ended up being the door op motor connections were loose at the motor. why it ran at all we will never know. schindler gave up on it and we took it, thank you sales guy, we spent a ton of money on boards door op drives etc. btw the door op power wires run straight through the cop board, bypass the board and that helps too.

you will have to forgive me because it's been a few when i worked on these. check your power supply voltage coming into the board, had one that kept blown the resistors that lit up some led's on the bottom of that board found that the power supply took a Crap and was shouting 35+ volts into the board. think it needs to be around 25 to 27 volts. caused big issues bought new board's, new software. don't know it this will help or not but wanted to toss it out there.
