DMC-1 Issue - 02/22/20 02:47 AM

I’m having a strange issue with a DMC. It is a 2-stop. Got a call a couple days ago that it wouldn’t respond to calls & the doors were slamming shut. Car is in SCA, no faults in CLC, Selector or Door Board. Voltages were all good, but rectifier output from Power Relay Board was bad. Swapped Power Relay board, good voltage line but car still won’t run. Long story short, have swapped CLC, Selector, Door Board & Software, still same problem. Can’t find anything wrong with this car, no faults, all boards are ready, but car won’t take a hall call or car call. Can’t figure it out. All indications are that it should run but won’t.

Looking for any ideas or suggestions. Thanks

have you checked the reset on the up start contactor?

Did you verified the traveler cable? Also, check if CLC is getting voltage for the inputs at the calls. Press call and then go to CLC at the same time and measure voltage on that. For both Hall and car calls. Is all your ground circuit in good state? Make sure in one of those swap that was left behind.

Question 1; Does the elevator accept the calls?

Question 2: Did you change the CLC for a BP4 with new software for the BP4?

If it is BP4 with new software, did you verify that the selector and the door card are compatible with BP4?

Question 3: did you change the CLC, did you validate car and hall calls?
