330a Growing coming into each landing

Is it common for a 330a to growl as it comes into floor level. It does not have an air bladder muffler and it's not cavitating.

If it's mad or hungry it may growl

Try speeding the up level some

adjust the valve a little if that doesnt work add some oil additive in. had a similar issue on an otis car. valve adjustments helped but only a little ended up dumping a gallon of oil additive to it and that seemed to resolve the issue

The dump tube coming off the down section of the valve sometimes gets in front of the pump screen causing this effect. Either cut the tube so it’s above the pump screen or tie it off to the side.

Thanks all for the replied. A crew is on their way to pickup some "Cat Juice", 1u-9891 Hydraulic Oil Additive to see if that helps. I'll make mention of the dump tube as well, thanks Norcan. I believe they did already make some valve adjustments and got the unit running slightly quieter.
