Dover Oildraulic 4-Slot - 03/26/21 10:07 PM

Got a Dover 4-slot that when both hall up and down buttons are pushed will cancel one direction and if you don't get in and press a car call in that direction the door will sit and cycle and not cancel the other hall call. I've tried swapping all the board with no luck.

I am at the 3rd floor in a 4 story medical building. I am in a hurry so I press the hall up and down buttons (because it will make the elevator come get me faster). The elevator runs up to the 3rd floor and the up hall button light goes out and the elevator doors open. I get in the elevator and press the 1st floor car call button and it lights up and the doors start to close. The doors get almost fully closed then do an immediate reopen. I wait a few seconds and the doors start to close again and get almost fully closed then do an immediate reopen again. This happens non-stop til I finally hit a 4th floor car call and the doors close, the up hall call cancels and the elevator runs up to the 4th floor. The doors open, close, and then runs me down to the first floor.

Correction (it was a long repair day yesterday): The up hall call cancelled when the car stopped to pick me up on the 3rd floor. After hitting the 4th floor car call the doors closed and went to the 4th floor then headed to the 1st floor stopping at 3 to pick up the down hall call. Now everyone should be totally confused at my scenario. Haha. Hope you all have a great day today.

Might be worth a shot, we had this weird issue a while back. Replaced the cap and issue is gone. (if they were all that easy)
