Tac 32. Fault 1110 - 06/01/21 04:54 PM

Hey guys. Got a Tac 32 shuts down once and a while on a 1110 fault
Only info in my manual is
1110. A17/b44 shutdown code. Inspection to reset.

Anybody have any other info ?

Isn't that door lock monitoring? The doors closed but not the gate switch, DCL or the order at which they are suppose to be made up is not correct. If I remember correctly, its Interlock, gate switch then door close limit. It is probably the plastic DCL sensor to far away from the magnet pickup. Could also be something in the saddle keeping the hatch door open while the Gate switch and DCL are made.

This keeps happening intermittently... I can not find the DCL actuators
Is there any way to disable door lock monitoring on the controller Interface

Check the cam and roller that retracts the small arm of the clutch. A lot of times this is cranked all the way back and it causes the doors to bind in the last 1/2” of the doors closing. Make sure the roller isn’t binding or wedging on the cam.

There is no magnets for DCL and DOL. it’s an encoder.
Cam looks ok.
Keeps shutting down once a week on bottom terminal landing.

What type of door operator is on it?

There should be DCL and DOL. Check you gate hanger rollers and you will see the magnets. The cigar switches are at the either end of the travel for the door. If all else fails, get the print for the door operator and trace down that con.

Thanks. I will check for that. I can’t find these things yet. But I didn’t look on the gate hanger rollers

No dcl n dol cigars on car door hangers. This is a LD-03 door operator with a 6300pa6 door board. It talks about dcl actuators on door operator cover but I can not find them.

Is that the only fault logged? I had one that had that fault with quite a few others. Ended up being the magnets on back side of the selector tape got moved and when it did its jack resynch it would shut down. For some reason it would also give me the 1110 fault.

Yes that is only fault I’m finding. But it’s always in the basement when I find it. So maybe you are right. I will check My back side magnets. If I remember correctly. You shoukd feel for gaps and close them

Re: Tac 32. Fault 1110 - 07/28/21 11:55 PM

IIRC there is a parameter setting for that B44 shutdown code. Set to “0” or deselect it to not have it in play. If your problem persists at the basement only, after you’ve checked magnets (if you do find the notorious non glued magnets) be sure to apply silicone to one edge of each slipped magnet, or a few drops of gorilla glue to three points after they’ve been situated properly AND tested.
Back to what KSNY was saying. Be sure the sequence of CG, DCL, DG signals are tight. Could be a bouncy pecker or the shorting bar is riding up and off the two contacts due to too much travel into the interlock box (or conversely too tight interlock and the pecker isn’t dropping right away). And again if I remember correctly, B44 shutdown can occur during the open cycle as well. As far as the signal sequence goes, my memory is different than KS, so maybe IDWT can chime in to clarify.

Thanks dirt. Can Adjustment 025 be changed with UIT on controller ?

Don’t know, probably

It’s probably under job requirements sub menu off block select adjustments.

Re: Tac 32. Fault 1110 - 07/29/21 02:08 PM

So Maintentaice in the building had been recycling power every time b4 I got there until today. Now I have a 2nd code. 1074 jack resync low pressure. I removed the buffer springs to see if that will stop it from happening for now. Magnets on back of tape are fine.

Re: Tac 32. Fault 1110 - 07/29/21 05:32 PM

You need to do an FJR to make sure the car can do a proper resync. You shouldn’t be getting a low pressure fault on a resync unless something is wrong.

Re: Tac 32. Fault 1110 - 07/29/21 06:26 PM

Fault code is 1074. In manual it says pressure switch active .
On the UIT is says 1074 jack resync low pressure shut down .
I manually re sync it and it leveled up fine after

Re: Tac 32. Fault 1110 - 07/30/21 12:49 AM

What can cause that? The car binding during sync ? Bad synchronizing valves?

Re: Tac 32. Fault 1110 - 07/30/21 11:37 AM

It seems the problem is my jack low pressure switch .. I wonder if my up leveling strainer is causing this.

Re: Tac 32. Fault 1110 - 07/31/21 03:08 PM

Update. Every time car gets sunk in pit i get 24v to prsw . Causing shutdown. Car still levels fine after sync and shuts down level at bottom terminal landing... car passes standing test ...There is no visible leaks anywhere. System is dry .. my car is not bottoming out .. has anybody else had this problem ?

Re: Tac 32. Fault 1110 - 07/31/21 10:46 PM

Depending on software, older versions would spit the 1074 out, as a proper resync does allow PRSW to come active. IDWT has the right idea, do a FJR on a clean slate and see what faults pop up. The 1074 could just be a ghost, and not part of your problems. While resyncing, verify you do not come off NTSB or DLT. That's where my money is right now, as while syncing, you lose placement, car won't make an effort to "find" itself, but on a power cycle it will...

As for the original door issue, potentially car could have been racking during the resync, allowing a car door or hoistway door to open, causing that original 1110. Again easy to duplicate by using the FJR.

Re: Tac 32. Fault 1110 - 08/01/21 10:04 AM

Did a FJR and got 1074 and 1110 .. also turned power off and manually lowered car into pit. Turned power on and got same results. 1074 and 1110 as car leveled up out of pit. With prsw jumped out it does not give me any faults during resync forced or manually lowered

You do have BLO in your IO map right? It should be port 8 bit 2.

Re: Tac 32. Fault 1110 - 08/02/21 10:11 AM

No. BLO not there under port 8

Add it

Re: Tac 32. Fault 1110 - 08/02/21 11:54 PM

Ok. Thanks dirt. I wonder how this car ran for a year with no shutdowns

Re: Tac 32. Fault 1110 - 08/03/21 10:57 PM

It shouldn’t need it since it’s not actually doing anything but I found an old note that this fixed some odd syncing problems. It’s possible this was fixed with a software update too. What version is the software?
