Vector Fixtures Miprom - 06/28/21 10:43 PM

We are replacing a few C.O.P.'s with aftermarket buttons and Position Indicators with C.E. drivers. Any one did this before? Trying to figure out how to interface the C.E. Driver with the Miprom Controller.

which controller? Miproms had Bi logic inputs and outputs, 120AC inputs and outputs, 24VAC inputs and outputs, and they also used Vector fixtures in HS controllers.

HS is a hydro. The PI usually was a 7 segment digital, driven by the controller software. Miprom 21 is a Traction unit. It should have some floor outputs you could integrate with CE PI's. Sweo was a traction AC it also should have floor outputs.

Closing this one out to help some one in the future if they do a search.

The Miprom's used a Vacuum Fluorescent PI. To keep the original controller and use a new LED PI, you need a Vacuum Fluorescent to Binary Converter. You can get that from Kone or from CETEK. (CETEK provides the wiring diagram and excellent tech support.) At the present most fixtures run off of micro-comm, if this is the case you will still need a board that converts Standard binary to micro-comm. We were using C.E. so we got binary converter from them.
