NWOV Evolution LULA - 08/23/21 11:07 PM

We are having an intermittent issue with the top landing door. Car gets to top landing, and that’s where it stays. If power is cycled, it begins to function without issue. This has happened 3 times in the past 4 years. Noticed today that the door operator board is blank, it is receiving power, but not putting out. All device manufacturers are out of business and the answer from Access is to replace the Control System. Vertisys manufactured the operator, but as I said, they are gone. It is powered by an Enermax Power Supply. Once things are cycled though problem disappears, sometimes for a year or more. Recently though, down twice in 10 days

Access electronics can repair the board. Copy the software first. We had one a while back that would fault out with an over torque at one floor, and it was a hoist way door issue causing it.

It did take a little bit of work and a custom pulley, we replaced another one with a motor and board from a linear GAL MOVR. Kept the mechanics of the existing operator. Did not have to do a full mod, just alteration permit. Really do love those GAL board and motor set ups.

Try ECI in Florida, I believe that the designer of the vertisys product works, or did work for them, so they are pretty familiar with the product.

No not that i can remember. Seems like it had a 12 volt and a 5 volt output? Hate to beat a dead horse, but if you cant mod it or replace the operator, Access electronics can repair both of these items.
