Schlindler 3300 Two Speed doors - 02/14/22 12:48 PM

We have several of the 3300 two speed doors that the bolts have come loose on the Sync Cable assembly. The only way we have found to get the bolts and nuts back on, is to take the doors off. There are no access holes and it looks like they would have came up with a better solution to get the proper torque on the fasteners or used a different fastener type.

Checking to see if any one else is having the issue with the doors also, and better solutions to the issue.

They are terrible doors, very lightweight. I have one on service that looks like the construction crew had to tack weld the entire fast and slow doors back together. The top floor hall doors would slightly scape at full open, we found the back hanger bolts loose. No adjustment. I predict a 5 - 10 year life span depending on usage and board/component availability.

Yes its the fermator doors.

I was hoping some one had ran into this before and came up with a better solution than taking the doors all the way off.

Follow up on this one. Was not as bad as we thought. Just pop the doors are(which are light) and replace the fasteners. We went back with ny lock nuts.
