Are you installing a brand new or re roping?
We get ours from Draka, but always use the same lay as the data tag on the original rope.
On the HW machines we have installed, we rely on HW to specify what rope to use.

There are some more advanced ropes nowadays to help with specific problems. Like compacted strand ropes and parallel core ropes
