MCE Ibox CAT 5 - 05/09/22 07:50 PM

Hey There, I am wondering if anybody has experience in doing a Category 5 test on an MCE Ibox? Specifically how to keep the main brake picked to test the emergency brake. Do I need a brake box? Do I just use a big clamp? I know some MCEs have a board with a brake pick button but an Ibox doesn't.

Depending how it was ordered. They added a seperate circuit that you have to relocate brake wires and add jumpers .

Iboxs are probably the easiest controller to do a five year test on. All the tests are done through the Iview computer. You literally go to the tests and select which test you want to do, it tells you what you need (test switch on ibox, at a floor etc.) Then you hit arm test and the car just does it.
