Tac 20. 1086 code

Getting riders trapped on top terminal landing. Seems to be 1086 Normal terminal slowdown limit failure sensor or magnet failure of NTST, NTSB, TSL1, TSL2 It is very intermittent

-Invalid configuration or adjustment of magnets or sensors
-Corrupted memory
-Bad CPU CARD

All magnets seem fine. No gaps on back side of tape magnets.
Has anyone seen a bad selector board cause this ?

Also car relevels every 2 mins sometimes. But passes standing test ..no sinking with power off

1086 fault. Anyone ?

First thing, I’d do several NTS tests to make sure that is working correctly. You should get a 1062 and the car does an NTS stop and keeps running. The 1086 is ETS, what you get when NTS fails. The ETS sensors are on the Auxiliary Sensor card (back selector board.) I suspect a failure of that board could cause this. Or the ETS/NTS signals getting back to the controller through travel cable wires or the CWI board in the car.

Thanks dirt. Does a new run learn have to be done after changing selector boards Main and Aux ?

Doesn’t have to but I usually do one when replacing the main.

This happened again. But this time no 1086. Only a 1057.. which is encoder fault
