platform lift mod options - 08/08/23 05:57 AM

In Canada, JRT will engineer a controller to work with a wide variety of existing equipment, and build a relay logic controller for basic, handicap accessible lifts.

Is there an American equivalent? It seems most companies want to install proprietary circuitry, leveling systems and rip out the whole unit and replace it as a package.

If you know any relay logic controller mfgs that will create a mod controller for a platform lift, please let me know if that exists!

Typically in America no one to my knowledge takes the time to mod a handicap lift. We Typically install as a unit, and rip out and replace as a unit. At least that's all I've ever seen done. It doesn't make much sense to me to mod a wheelchair lift. Usually the controller is integral to the unit

Top manufacturers include savaria, Bruno, possibly still inclinator. All relay logic solid equipment.
