Schindler 3300 display reboot loop - 09/19/23 07:55 PM

Hi all,
I have an issue with the MRL 3300 lift, when we have power loss then when the power is restored the display start to reboot loop for many minutes ans some times for many hours to finally startup.
I checked 24v it's ok (26.5v) and all connectors seems to be ok.
Is it software or hardware issue?
Did anyone had a similar problem and resolved it.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Regards,
Dino

What does the display show when booting.

What does the error stack show.

Possible causes:
defective SCPU
defective SIM card
CANBus problem (frequency converter, SDIC)
software update failed
...

My SCPU is v2.1 boot loader 15.11.09
Need I to replace it with the same boot loader or any boot loader can do the job.
It's a plug and play or I should to do something else ?
Thank's for you help

SCPU
On the SCPU the complete configuration is stored in the
EEPROM. Because there is no possibility to do an
electronic backup, the whole configuration has to be done
after the replacement. Try to read out as much as possible
of the existing configuration.
Before replacement:
 Read out the trip counter and travel time (CF=11 or HMI
menu 60 > 601, 602) and note the values in the elevator
log book.
 Read out the car load cell calibration data (see section
5.4.2)
– CF=96, PA=1, PA=2 and PA=3
– CF=08, PA=01 and PA=08
 Read the encoder direction and phase sequence
– CF=16, PA=14 and 15
 The following parameters need to be read out only if the
corresponding items are available in the system
– Parking floor, penthouse? → CF=02
– Key switches in car? → CF=05/55, CF=41, CF=17
– PIN code? → CF=41, PA=1
– JDE or JAB on the LOP? → CF=40, L=n, PA=21
– LCUX on floors? → CF=40, L=n

SCPU After replacement:
 If necessary chance the encoder direction and phase
sequence (CF=16, PA=14 and 15)
 Perform a learning travel (see section 4.9.2)
 If available enter car load cell data (CF=08, PA=01 and
PA=08; CF=97) (see section 5.4.2)
 Perform a LOP counting (CF=00, LE=00) (see
section 5.4.5)
 Enter the parameters which you have read out before
 Do the mandatory configurations (see section 5.2)
 Set the time and date (CF=04)
 Perform the ETM(A) configuration (see section 5.4.24)
 If necessary do the configuration for the other options

Re: Schindler 3300 display reboot loop - 01/05/24 07:17 AM

Hi All,
I replaced the scpu and now it boots and works but i have a problem.
We have dual elevators and before the scpu issue when I call the elevator from lop the nearest elevator will be called but now the elvator with new scpu will be called Even if it is far from the floor. the second elevator (existing scpu) will work only if the first elevators (new scpu) is in movement.
I think it's priority parameter or something like that.
So is there a parameter to set to reactivate dual working as the nearest elevator will be called first.

Thank you
Dino
