Miconic A over current

Miconic A over current - 02/20/24 08:48 PM

As soon as you turn the car on all the LEDs on the VEC board, come on, then go out, and Ds4 comes back on and stays on. I’ve changed all the IGBT‘s, rectifier and capacitor boards, and the VEC,V2V, and the MTV. Checked all the resistors in the dynamic braking circuit. Still can seem to locate the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

What happens if you disconnect the motor wires and try to run it?

By checked the braking resistors, do you mean megged them? Did you megger the motor yet?

If I disconnect the motor leads it does the same thing. I haven’t megged the brake resistors. I got 7 ohms using my meter. Never thought to meg them. I’ll try that today. I don’t think it’s the motor since it does the same without it but I wondered if maybe it needs to see the motor. Would it give me ds4 led without the motor hooked up?

To be honest I don't know in particular about a Miconic A, never had to work on one. I was just thinking of what I'd be checking first if I was in your spot.
