saw a piece of sprinkler pipe punch a hole in a platform once. it was hanging out of the hatch and clipped a spreader beam. also seen an electric pallet jack that knocked the rear gate out of the sill and the car ran down at 800fpm. gate caught a hw sill tore the whole cab off the platform.

I once saw a hospital open the escape hatch of an elevator to use it to transport a ladder that would not fit in the cab. They DID position it to where it would not contact the CW however it is still a stupid move to open the escape hatch to transport items..

Always remember....edge detectors do NOT see glass panels!! Even when they weigh a couple of hundred pounds and they are being carried by four guys
