Does anyone know of or have a detailed history of otis with reference to product development and when they came out as the otis website is very generic?

Thanks in advance.

There is a book out about Otis and probably available on Amazon.

Pretty good read.

Thanks gents, but im am aware of the otis history on its site and the history of elisha otis. Im after a 'detailed' history of the company not just the over view of it. being an ex employee im well aware of the general stuff but not being in the US we didnt get the 'home' history. i will check out this book that might be available.

thanks.

edit: just checked out this book. Does it describe the evolution of the new products ie 260vip and 401's etc?
