i have a 2925 fault logged. pressing the ucm rst button wont reset it. do i have to reset a parameter back to 0 like the 355 controls befote it will run again?

why did it go on UCM? any other faults?place car on MR insp, hold the ucm reset button(middle of board toward the bottom) an you should hear the ucm relay pull in and then push the mcss cpu reset button or por.

no dice. 2908 error too. ucm and ucmx didnt pick when ucm rst pressed. no display on the drive either. this occurred after somebody manually tripped the gos with the car on inspection.

I recall 2908 having something to do with a controller type but not sure if its relevant to this type.

try holding the gov test switch for about 5 sec. then hit the ucm the the reset.

Does it have a switch on the governor tail sheave?Tripping that usually gave me a ucm.

I agree, with Elevatedone. Also make sure your safety stuff is not jumped out. When the car is reset it does a self check, you will get this fault.

If It is 411/MMS or a Gen2...no display on the drive..is not a good thing..whatever the fault on the MCSS there should always be a display on the drive...
