Sometimes the LCB II logs certain faults in the eprom and shuts down the lift and you have to do more than reset it. Have a look at the lift status for a 'flashing fault' such as DBP or DCS. This could be because the lift has tried 2 correction runs in a row or because the door sequence has not completed correctly, and won't allow normal operation until it has. Sometimes you will need to put the car on inspection to clear it.

Thanks for your reply 401PPT. I tried to put lift into inspection to clear flashing fault, you say that the door sequence may not have been completed, i have 2 levels, level 1 has straigth through on either side of lift both are accorrdian manual doors, level 2 has one accorrdian door all doors only have locking and door contacts,
you said in your last mail that i should put the lift into inspection and then clear fault? can you explain how i would do this

thanks again

Hmm i've never had them with manual accordian doors before, only centre opening auto doors. In this case the doors do an open and close check sequence before the car can operate otherwise it shuts down and only drives on inspection.

What i mean is just flick the car on inspection and back to normal and sometimes it clears certain flashing faults. If you can't access the car top or there is no ero operation from the controller, you can remove the wire and put it back in the terminal strip (2c4 or 2H4 something like that, check the print) and it will also reset it this way.

if it runs on insp and NOT auto depending on the age the PF ram (power failure RAM) might need clearing (have been caught on that one before). Cant remember off the top of my head but think its 1-5 on the menus. while your at it also clear the SAC ram as well.

I also checked the Events menu these are the faults below

0100 OpMode NAV
c002 t25929 p**

0104 OpMode DCP
c008 t13644 p01

0201 Correct.Run

0204 TCI/ERO on
c024 t00029 p00

the first value c is how many times the fault has occured since last reset....the t is the time since the last fault and the p is the position. The only thing you list which might be something to look at is the TCI/ERO which is top of car inspection/emergency rescue operation in other words it was put on hand control 24 times and the last was 29 mins earlier. change the RS4 (or 5 or 14) board as sometimes play up I cant remember off the top of my head which one it is but im sure someone will know (it should be on the drawing anyway). you dont really have to concern yourself about selftesting the system dosent tell you all that much .
