Swapped all boards. Checked brakes. Changed encoder today and did alignment procedure. Still faulting 690. Frustrated.

Speed Feedback Loss Fault - during a run the drive has detected a loss of velocity encoder signal.

What drive? What other faults are you getting? Is the 690 first?

V3F25 and yes 690 is first. Swapped inverter Interface, encoder interface, 2407MC, constant current regulator and ENENCT cards. New Encoder. Fault occurs right after brakes pick and voltage is sent to motor. 2407MC board fault on uit says No Encoder.

It sounds like you looked at this already. But the way your last post sounds, you motor isn't turning soon enough.
Also does the brake pick too slowly? Is the motor trying to pull through the brake before it is completely lifted?

How did you perform a encoder alignment if the car wont run?

Good question. But when I was done it said alignment complete. Does the sheave move during this process?

During this you change inspection speed to 0. So I assumed it would not turn anyway

It will run on inspection for you to get it out of the overhead? When you run it on inspection are you getting any speed feedback?

It's a goofy way that encoder attaches to the shaft. There is a screw that jams into the side of it. That was on a torin machine but I think it's the same encoder set up.

It was a bearing bad in motor. Had machine locked up. FYI
