I have a list of all the elevators in Massachusetts but some of the labels are unclear under E_TRAC there is H-Hydraulic T-Traction but there are a lot of other letters and numbers too. They probably have escalators, moving walks, wheelchair lifts, dumbwaiters, stairlifts, etc. on the list along with passenger elevators. Not sure about the "k" though.

why do you have a list of all the elevators in Massachusetts and you don't know what a "K"is??? But to answer your question it stands for a stage lift. And they are a pain in A$$!

There are two list that are represented by letters and numbers One is The Type of elevator A-? B-? C-? D-Dumbwaiter? E-? F-Freight G-? H-? I-? J-? K-Stage Lift L-? M-? P-Passenger R-Residential? S-Sidewalk? T-? V-? W-Wheelchair? Z-?

The other is how it is driven 0-? 1-? 2-? 3-? 4-? 5-? 6-? 7-? 8-? A-? B-? C-? D-winding drum? E-? F-? G-Gear (as in rack and pinion maybe)? H-hydraulic I-? J-? K-? L-? M-? N-? O-? P-? R-Rope (as in hand powered elevator)? S-Screw? T-Traction? U-? V-? W-Water? X-? Y-? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
