Hey Traction! Google NY a few years ago? We had a car do the same thing! Now just to open up the debate a little? What's changed in our industry the last 25 years????? Any true American Companies still around? The equipment in this video less a few relays and code requirements are moving people in this country everyday? Everything is smaller, cheaper and more cost effective....Kind of like the cars we all drive now...made of plastic? And we are not an "under developed country" or are we? Are you talking about the car that took off with what is believed to be the door locks jumped out? Or was there a car that ran uncontrolled in the up direction? Obviously older equipment that has not been brought up to date is still at risk for catastrophic failure. In the end it comes down to maintenance frequency, quality and how many safety features are installed on the lift.
