I'm a military veteran scheduled for a July 14 interview at the local 93 in Nashville. Any tips, suggestions, or anything else would be welcomed with open arms. Thank you

titans Thanks for your service. Be early be clean dress sharp. They do not teach elevators in high school so you don't know it all. And any elevator man that tells you he does is dangerous. So let them know your prior skills and your willingness to learn. There will be company reps looking for someone with some talent and the willingness to learn and be on time everyday. The union reps will be looking for the same qualities and someone with the guts to follow the rules and be a team player. If you make it you will learn your trade from brother members. Never forget elevator men are made not born so you have a dept to the men you learn from and an obligation to teach the next generation as you were taught... Good Luck Dan

^^^^ great post!

Thank you for your service firstly.

Be early speak truthfully admit your experience or lack of and always be willing to learn and jump in and help any way possible.

Goes without saying brotherhood is not what you get out of it it's what you put in!

Good luck sir
