What is a MLS 8/9 fault? i can not find this fault any place Motion Logic State? very green service mechanic that has not worked on Otis equipment before.

Pretty sure you mean EMLS 8-9. Check MFS contacts and carbons. Could be a million things, bad contacts on MFS is most common.
