Hi guys,

Kindly request some help on one of my elevator OTIS Spec60 Nippon type.

on drive, appeared on Fault mode, CUR CONT. May i know what is that mean?
Drive defective?

Well, the manual to a SPEC90 has the same error code...

CUR CONT >> 38 CUR CONT Current Control Abnormal, Fault.

If this is a "true" Nippon, it's considered a Spec 50, parts are pretty much nonexistant.

Thanks for answer guys.
It is true, it is pretty much nonexistant but just want to find out the problem.
Current control abnormal fault,
From what i guessing is the Main Drive error, defective parts like IGBT, logic board, power interface board which all locate on Main Drive.

Anyone experience this before?

Forgive me, I'm not familiar with this unit.

Is there several types of digital signal sources that track speed, position and such. Is it possible that there is a difference between the two signals that could cause such a fault?
