Looking at taking a job on service were Kone used these controllers for a mod. They use Yaskawa drives, Hollister Whitney geared machines and what look to be standard Kone fixtures.

Does anyone have any experience with these? They appear to be similar to the KCM 831 stuff just without the Kone manufactured drives or macines. Is this stuff decent to work on or reliable? What does the 20 SC stand for?

It looks just like a KCM 831 with a standard Adon board....so it has to be the same stuff. Fault codes, etc.

No idea what the SC stands for possibly, Selective Collective, but the 20 is speed up to 2.0 Meters per second, which is capable of up to 400fpm (393.7).

Kone uses the Resolve 20 and Resolve 100 on Mods only. The 20 is fairly trouble free, especially when used in conjunction with Hollister Whitney. I had a bit more problems with the 100, and only the 100 that had front and rear openings. Also on the same job if you Flagged the Main Line, it would occasionally lose all the run parameters. Never had any real problems with the 20 though. The Resolve has it's own fault log and Manual. Some faults are the same, and some are different from the KCM, so be aware.
