4 stop at floor 1 with doors closed and not holding any calls. I've got no comm on fast tool says "no device on multi drop link". I plugged it in on all 3 ports. I plugged the tool onto another unit and it works fine. Car isn't responding on auto but will run on CT insp. Manual DO and DC aren't working either. I checked PS1 and I'm at 5 & 11.5. Does this sound like a Bad CLC? Also checked the 2430 and it's good. I plugged another door board in just to check and nothing changed. Thx in advance!!!

try communicating to each board separately, maybe one board is bad dragging down the communication line. on selector board remove cs3b connector. then plug into 25 pin port and see if you can talk to the selector. you won't be able to talk to the door or clc, because with cs3b connector removed, you isolate the board from psc,nsc comm lines to other boards. you can talk to just the selector, if you can talk to selector then thats good, then go to door board, and remove the doc1b connector, try to talk to door board, same idea, you have isolated the psc,nsc comm lines from the other boards, so you won't be able to talk to selector or clc, but you can talk to door board. this will let you know if either of the car top boards are causing a problem. you could also try removing lcc9 connector from clc board, and plug into car top boards to see if you can communicate to them with clc board out of the loop, either way, this will eliminate the boards as a problem. also, is the clc board led on? if not, the power supply may be bad, check for ac ripple on the 5 volt power supply, even though it says 5 vdc with meter, ac millivolt reading should be under 10 millivolts i have seen ac millivot readings of 60 or higher will not allow clc to boot up. good lic

I agree withVator gator, I have had similar troubles with one board dragging down communication for all.,does the elevator level back into the floor after you run it away on insp, then put it back on auto..( prob not) will the door open or close when using test buttons on the door board? Unplug the door board and selector board then try clc communication. Clc is the heart of the system ,if this one will not communicate this is a good place to start when replacing boards

Thanks for the help guys! I haven't had a good one like that in a long time. I ended up replacing the CLC board and the PS1. I found a pinched/shorted wire coming from my 5v supply in the CT box, which contributed to losing my CLC. I replaced the pinched wire, but still couldn't get original CLC to come back online. It was even more frustrating when I plugged in the new CLC and it would communicate with my tool, but refused to perform a hstwy scan. Rgggghhh... My selector would stop communicating about 3' above bottom floor during hstwy scan. I found 56 millivolts on my 5v supply, replaced the PS1 and finally got the unit running. I'm still scratching my head in disbelief. My old man went round for round with this unit a few years back right when we took it on contract and I knew it would give me a run for my money someday. It's a DMC controller on an Esco pump unit with Otis buttons and a GAL MOD operator or as my old man would say Botched! Again, thanks for the tip on the AC ripple.
