Okay were do I start.Replaced relay board because of bad switch on board an now car only run top to bottom no intermediate stops.Talked to others around an they say these units only good for 10,000 runs an you need to reprogram.Unit was running before board replacement so put old board back in an same out come.Tried to use world tool but was told need hyper terminal for windows xp or earlier.Has anyone else run into this issue

When you say relay board, I assume you mean the MRCB which lays horizontal on top of the controller. what do you mean when you say it had a bad switch? Have you checked the slowdown switches on the car top. If both boards are showing the same problem, then the problem lies elsewhere. check the COB board in the Cab COP. This board is where the sldn switches terminate. The problem seems to be you aren't slowing down at intermediate floors. Does the user interface show any error's? These units will run and run. However they are fairly complicated. When they have a problem you need a manual and a print. you can make all adjustments from the U.I. If the U.I. is not operable, you need a service tool to release it.

Looking in the COP, you should be able to watch the LED's as the car runs (hopefully doors work at terminals). if they don't toggle as you go, your car could have shifted to one side and you are missing the magnets. Do you have short floors? How many stops? The magnets are Flip-Flopped up the hoistway,N then S. They in turn, turn bi-stable reed swith on at north off at south if my memory is correct. That in turn tells the car which stop it is coming to. That switch is a different color. Haven't work on on in years, but they run forever, bad WG door operators though.
