Question : US Elevator controller, 2 stop hydro, controller has ibm relays, relays not marked. No door operation, changed out r2 resistor, now door opens, will not close. Doors open when elevator comes to floor, will not close.
Look on the back side of the controller door. Same markings for relay ID should be there also. Doors not closing? Is "SH" (shut) power relay picked? Call has cancelled? No SE or DOX? Find relay TD (Door Time), a four pole relay which also has a TD timer to close the doors if nothing else prohibits the closing. I see jkh hit some of the targets too.
Thanks for all your help and prints Sent to me. Found open R2 resistor and bad GAL motor (shunt wound), changed out to GAL perm. magnet motor. All good, thanks guys.
