Anyone have any documentation or knowledge of the life cycle or life span of Otis CSB's on Gen2's?? 1600kg cars..anyhelp or literature would be helpful.

From what I know of these belts, belt life is gauged by a variety of conditions. Just doing a visual inspection or tracking how many miles are traveled on them is only skin deep. The big green machine uses a magnetic flux leakage process to help them determine the life of the belts.

You will need to be familiar (VERY) with the coated steel belt code requirements if you plan on maintaining these units...
