Ok all. I am having an issue. Galaxy controller, Dover elevator. I2 valve, 5 landings. It was having can bus problems but I got that fixed. Now I get a down direction fault followed by a stalled fault. The stalled fault says "Fault occurs if the motion run timer exceeds the stall protection time.
The motion run timer is incremented while the car is trying to run.". I looked and changed the stall timer in the adjustable variables and even adjusted the valve just a hair. It says the causes could be low oil( it's not) or improper valve adjustment. Well I'm no expert on the i2 valve but I've adjusted a few without problems. And the car seems to be running fine except about ince every few days I get this fault and keep having to go out there and mess with it. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Does the car return to the lowest landing? do you have some type of viscosity heat? Dover valves if they get cold oil will not level correctly, causing a return and shutdown at the lowest floor.

The tanks have heaters on them and I always adjust the valve after making a few long runs to make sure my oil is at operating temp. but yes it is almost always at the bottom landing, but not every single time. Once in a blue moon it will be on another landing.

Honestly I really hate these controllers, and I am not fond of the selection system either. The way that the I/O's are set up is like the knew they were gonna fail.

The leveling adjuster is always a low oil suspect. I haven't found a good way to clean the screen and in a pinch you can tear it off. Be sure to replace asap. Also, your low pressure needs to be set correctly. Be certain the low pressure jamb nut is tight as well.

I just fixed a stall fault. Found gr1 relay low and gr2 relay high, turns out the triac that feeds gr1 relay was flaky. Replaced it and its been running fine since. Does this job have a overspeed valve?

The stall fault went away so far when I extended the stall timer. but now I get a Door Zone Aux failed off message. I just replaced both DZ relays and the DZ input chip on the 1038 board and also replaced the DZA output on the Selector driver board. We'll se if that works. if not Im gonna open the valve and start from square one on it. The valve has been running fine for years so I would assume it would be the screen clogged but you never know.

I would clean the valve screens, Pretty common issue with I2 valves.

I think you should try Smartrise controls , you would not have these issues.
That is my advice to you. these guys are in the west coast but even with that you can get support anytime of the day. I believe they have 24/7 support. I have to wait for GAL 2 weeks one time to come back from there summer vacation, so I can get a car running !!!
