Guys need a little help. We have a Gen2 that will no longer hold 125% on the E-Brake (5 years old first time tested after Otis install)I am looking for a write up on how to install new Brake. If not a write up at least talk to someone who has done this. Thanks Dan

Thats very unusual for a Gen2, usually each brake is set to hold more like 150% and they don't stop on the brake so It shouldn't wear. Did this car have other issues?

My only advise is use MRO to land counterweight, don't drive it onto buffer under power or that shaft will spin a few times. Gen2 has enough traction to pick the car a bit.

Agreed. About all points.

I've seen the main brake locking shut.
Your taking about the e brake not the main brake correct?

When every circuit board is made. They put a little magic smoke inside.

We had a bolt made to pull the center hub and have installed the new brake and passed inspection. Greenpants the car has run well the last 4 years we have had it after coming off free service. I got our guys the specs and some metric feeler gauges to see what was worn. Yes this was the E-brake not the main. Main brake held 125% no problem Magic smoke. Both brakes now hold 125% no problems.....
