The existing board, will, after a few days not close the doors. If you close the doors by hand, it will re open but not close. Hit the reset button on the board and it works fine for a few days again. Replaced the door board with a new one from Thyssen. Doors seem to work fine after leaving top of car. Now on to install capacitor in machine room. After installing capacitor the car will not open doors once the initial hall call has been placed at that floor. It will answer calls to other floors as long as the hall call or car call has not been placed at the floor it is at for the second time. Either from car call or hall call. If the car is not at the floor it is being called from it will work fine. Only if you ask it to answer the present floor call after the initial one. Fire service resets it and it will reopen from the light screen. Pulled capacitor back out and same problem. Replace new board with original board and this problem has gone away.
I believe I installed the capacitor the right way.
Reloaded parameters from a previous save. Still the same thing.
Only thing I know to do is to replace the board with another one.
We've used 3 different boards and still have the same problem with parking with it's doors open until we reset the door op board. Good for a few days and than shuts down again. What's the big square chip for? Has anyone ever had corrupt software or is it a problem with the clc. We can't even do a door scan. Any ideas?
Can you see the door parameters with the fast tool? Are you using the same part number board that came out, if not, what was in it and what are you putting in? If everything communicates and you can't get a scan, I would replace the encoder. You certainly could have a bad CLC and the big chip on the door board is the software.
