My tool won't communicate. I replaced the IOA board and the 186o board and chip.
Also the board doesn't seem to be putting any power to door operators or starter or even the C.O.P. battery is new and checked tool on another tac 20.

Did you happen to go from a 16 bit tac20 to a 32 bit? Does your IMS support 32 bit and have a CPUA Icon?

Ga.
Yes, what version IMS are you running. 2.3.x is 16 bit. 2.4.x and above is 32.

What port do you have it plugged into? Use the 232 not the 485.
Tac 20's are 16 bit, should work with regular IMS.

There are no 32 bit TAC20s. If you replaced the CPU, you need to put software in through Hyperterminal, it doesn't even know it's an elevator.
